The Shellbrook Elks were a junior B and another incarnation was a senior team.

Junior Team[]

The junior team played off for Saskatchewan's Memorial Cup playoff spot in 1966-67.

They lost the final.

Senior Team[]

The senior team played in the Fort Carlton Hockey League.  The team dates back to at least the 2001-02 season.  The team won league championships in 2002, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2012.  The team would withdraw from the league after the 2015-16 season.  The town also had a second team, the Shellbrook Silvertips,  which joined the Saskatchewan Prairie Senior Hockey League starting with the 2013-14 season.  Both teams used the Shellbrook Skating Arena as their home ice.
