Shannon Yoxheimer (born December 23, 1993) is a women’s ice hockey player from Michiga She played American collegiate hockey for the Penn State Nittany Lions.

Playing career[]

Yoxheimer grew up in Jackson, Michigan and played for many Detroit area junior teams. From 2007 to 2008, Yoxheimer competed with Little Caesars Under-14 team. The squad enjoyed a second place finish at the USA Nationals, while claiming the Michigan state title.

During 2008 and 2009, Yoxheimer competed with the Belle Tire Under 19 squad. Serving as team captain, Yoxheimer helped the squad capture the Michigan state Under-19 title, while appearing in the quarterfinals of the USA Nationals.

The 2011-12 campaign found Yoxheimer competing for the North American Hockey Academy. In 51 games played, Yoxheimer accumulated 17 goals and 10 assists, as NAHA enjoyed a record of 55 wins, compared to only 15 losses and 7 ties. Yoxheimer was part of the NAHA squad that captured the JWHL and USA-Canada Cup titles.
