Shane Joseph (born July 23, 1981 in Brooks, Alberta) is a Canadian professional ice hockey winger last playing for the Iserlohn Roosters in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga.
Career[]
Joseph began his hockey career in 1999 in the ]]National Collegiate Athletic Association]] and played for Minnesota State Mavericks in Mankato, Minnesota. In the first two years of the Canadians played quietly, but developed from 2001 to the service provider. In the season 2002/03 and 2003/04 Joseph scored the most goals, templates, and points for the Mavericks. After the maximum time of five years, which one can play at a university, had been exhausted, the striker signed by the end of the 2003-04 season an amateur tryout contract with the Cleveland Barons of the American Hockey League, the former affiliate of the San Jose Sharks. With them he reached the semifinals of the divisional playoffs to the Calder Cup. On 27 June 2004 Joseph signed his first professional contract with the San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League. This sent him back to the Barons. There, he was still a member of the tribe of cadres, however, never got the chance to prove himself in the NHL.
Then joined the attacker in the 2006/07 season the Augsburger Panther of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga. After consistently good performance of the then 26-year-old was logical for the DEL All-Star Game nominated 2007th At the end of the season he was top scorer of the Panther. After another year in Augsburg, Joseph finished as top scorer again, was the management of the DEG Metro Stars aware of him and was able to take the Canadian for 2008/09 season in Düsseldorf under the contract. With DEG, he was runner-up after being defeated in the 2009 DEL Finals Eisbären Berlin. After he graduated from the 2009/10 season in Dusseldorf, his contract with the DEG Metro Stars was not renewed. On May 10, 2010, he signed with the Iserlohn Roosters.
