San Jose Sports & Entertainment Enterprises is a private company based in San Jose, California which owns the San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League, the Worcester Sharks of the American Hockey League, and manages the HP Pavilion arena. The company was formed in 2002 after George Gund put these assets up for sale. Thirteen owners have a stake in the organization, with a 5 member committee making executive decisions. The board members include team CEO Greg Jamison, former Brocade Communications Systems CEO Gregory Reyes, venture capitalist Kevin Compton, former San Jose Mayor Tom McEnery, and former NFL tight end Brent Jones.
