Sacha Treille (born on November 6, 1987 in Grenoble) is a professional French ice hockey left/right winger currently playing with the Grenoble of the Ligue Magnus.
His brother Yorick Treille also played hockey.
Club career[]
Treille played junior hockey with the Grenoble organisation. He made his senior debut during the 2005-06 season when he played 17 regular season games and 3 play-off games with the Grenoble of the Ligue Magnus and also 2 games with the Grenoble under-22 team.
In the 2006-07 season played Treille only with the Grenoble of the Ligue Magnus. In this season, he became the French champion and the Ligue Magnus Cup champion and also won the Jean-Pierre Graff Trophy for the Ligue Magnus' best young player.
In the next season played Treille 1 game with the Grenoble under-22 team and 16 regular season games plus 6 play-off games with the Grenoble of the Ligue Magnus. In this season became Treille the French Cup champion.
In the 2008-09 season, he played 25 regular season games and 1 play-off game with the Färjestad BK of the Elitserien and became the Elitserien champion. In this season, he was also loaned for 3 games to the Nybro Vikings IF of the HockeyAllsvenskan, for 6 games to the Bofors IK of the HockeyAllsvenskan and for 5 games to the Malmö Redhawks of the HockeyAllsvenskan.
In the following season played Treille with the Malmö Redhawks of the HockeyAllsvenskan.
In 2010, Treille signed with the HC Kladno of the Tipsport Extraliga. He played there 39 games before moving to the HC Sparta Praha of the Tipsport Extraliga. He finished there the 2010-11 season with 6 regular season games and 7 relegation games played.
In the 2011-12 season played Treille 10 regular season games and 5 play-off games with the HC Sparta Praha of the Tipsport Extraliga, 11 regular season games and 11 play-off games on loan with the HC Slovan Ústečtí Lvi of the 1. Liga and 3 games on loan with the HC Berounští Medvědi of the 1. Liga.
In the next season, he played 28 regular season games and 7 play-off games with the HC Sparta Praha of the Tipsport Extraliga and 3 games on loan with the HC Stadion Litoměřice of the 1. Liga.
For the 2013-14 season returned Treille to the Rytíři Kladno (formerly HC Kladno) of the Tipsport Extraliga.
Treille then spent the 2014-15 season with the Straubing Tigers of the DEL.
In 2015 - 2017 played Treille with the Rouen of the Ligue Magnus. In the 2015-16 season became Treille the French champion, the French Cup champion and the Continental Cup champion.
Then spent Treille the 2017-18 season with the HC Dynamo Pardubice of the Tipsport Extraliga.
He also began the next season with the HC Dynamo Pardubice of the Tipsport Extraliga but after 25 games played, he returned to France and finished the season with the Grenoble of the Ligue Magnus. He played there 3 regular season games and 15 play-off games in this season and became the French champion.
Since then, he is playing with the Grenoble of the Ligue Magnus. He is currently signed there until the end of the 2020-21 season.
International career[]
Treille played with the French National Team at the 2005 World U18 Championship Division I, 2006 and 2007 World Junior Championships Division I, 2007 World Championship Division I (winning there gold) and at the 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 World Championships (being selected one of the top 3 players on the French team at the 2011 tournament).
