Ryan Adam Stone (born March 20, 1985 in Calgary, Alberta) is a Canadian professional ice hockey centre currently playing with TPS Turku of the SM-Liiga in Finland.

Playing career[]

Stone was drafted from the Western Hockey League's Brandon Wheat Kings in the second round, 32nd overall, by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft. Stone recorded his first NHL point on an assist to Chris Minard against Ryan Miller and the Buffalo Sabres on March 12, 2008.

On January 17, 2009, he was traded by Pittsburgh along with Dany Sabourin and a 4th round pick to the Edmonton Oilers for Mathieu Garon.[1]

On July 7, 2010, he signed a one-year deal with the Calgary Flames. Stone spent the entire 2010-11 season with the Flames' farm team the Abbotsford Heat.
