Ryan Daniels (born June 22, 1988 in Pickering, Ontario) is a Canadian goaltender playing for the Kalamazoo Wings of the ECHL.
He played junior hockey in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) for the Saginaw Spirit and the Peterborough Petes from 2004 to 2009. The Ottawa Senators chose him 151st overall in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.
Daniels tried out for both the Senators and the Atlanta Thrashers but could not make the roster.[1][2] He then enrolled at and played Hockey for Wilfred Laurier University of Canadian Interuniversity Sport, for which he played from the 2009-10 season through the 2012-13 season.[3] On February 26, 2013, he signed with the Missouri Mavericks of the Central Hockey League.[4][5] After only playing 1 game for the Mavericks, he left the team and signed with the Kalamazoo Wings of the ECHL.[6]
