Ryan Craig (born January 6, 1982) is a Canadian professional ice hockey centre who currently plays for the Pittsburgh Penguins of the National Hockey League.

Playing career[]

Craig was drafted 255th overall in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft by the Tampa Bay Lightning. He started his hockey career with the Brandon Wheat Kings of the Western Hockey League and played for some years in the American Hockey League before making his debut with the Lightning in the 2005–06 season.

On July 3, 2010—Craig signed a two-way, 1-year $500,000 contract with the Pittsburgh Penguins. On June 13, 2011 Craig re-signed with the Penguins for one year.[1]

He is currently one of the captains of the Pittsburgh Penguins' American Hockey League team, the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.

Craig is married to Jaydee, who grew up in Souris, Manitoba. They have a son and a baby girl. [2][3]
