Warren Russell Oatman (February 19, 1905 in Tillsonburg, Ontario – October 25 1964) - is a retired professional ice hockey player who played 121 games in the National Hockey League. He played with the Montreal Maroons, Detroit Red Wings, and New York Rangers.
Oatman debuted with the Minneapolis team in the United States Amateur Hockey Association in 1924-25.He then played for the Victoria Cougars of the Western Canada Hockey League in 1925-26.
After the Western League folded in 1926 his rights were transferred to the Detroit Cougars of the NHL. Oatman was traded to the Montreal Maroons in mid-season and led the team to the Stanley Cup Finals in 1927-28.
He was traded to the New York Rangers midway through the 1928-29 season. After playing in the International Hockey League in the 1929-30 season, he retired.
