Ruslan Fedotenko (in Ukrainian: Руслан Федотенко) (b. January 18th 1979 in Kiev, Ukraine) is a professional left winger who plays in the National Hockey League for the New York Islanders.
Fedotenko was never drafted to the NHL - he entered it when he was signed by the Philadelphia Flyers in 1999. The Flyers traded him to Tampa Bay in 2002, along with two second round draft picks, in return of Tampa's first round draft pick (which turned out to be Joni Pitkänen). He signed a one year, $2.9 million deal with the New York Islanders on July 3, 2007. The next summer, he signed a one-year contract with the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Fedotenko scored the Stanley Cup-winning goal in 2004, a goal that gave the Lightning its first Stanley Cup in history.
