Grew up on Canadian Royal Air Force bases while his father was serving in the military. ... played junior with the powerful Brandon Wheat Kings in the late 1970s. ... in 1978-79, the team come within one overtime goal of the Memorial Cup. ... the following season voted to the WHL first all-star team. ... between 1980 and 1993 guarded the cage for eight different IHL franchises, three AHL clubs, and one EHL team. ... in which he played 522 minor-league games. ... reached NHL after 14 year wait. ... made debut two days after signing with the Los Angeles Kings on February 18, 1993 against the Chicago Blackhawks. ... played ten games that year and four the next. ... played on Los Angeles team that went to 1993 Stanley Cup Finals. ... returned to the IHL, playing for four different teams in four years. ... recorded first shutout in Detroit Vipers (IHL) history by beating Soviet Wings 10-0 on Nov. 6, 1994. ... retired in 1997 after playing 19 games with the Milwaukee Admirals. ... named Nashville amateur scout for Western Canada in September 1997, prior to team's inaugural 1998-99 season, and remained in that position until April 16, 2002. ... named Nashville assistant director of amateur scouting on April 16, 2002 remained in position through 2002-03 season.
