Richie Bayes (born March 21, 1948 - October 16, 2006 ) was a retired Canadian professional ice hockey centre that was drafted by the Chicago Black Hawks in the National Hockey League (NHL), however he did not play for the team.

He won the Memorial Cup in 1967 with the Toronto Marlboros.

After his retirement, in his latter years he worked at the Bible Hill Junior High School as a Vice Principal & teacher in Truro, Nova Scotia, and also coached in Truro Minor Hockey Association.
