Regan Boulton was a womens ice hockey player for the Quinnipiac Bobcats. As a student at Balmoral Hall Prep, one of her teammates on the female ice hockey team was Chelsea Illchuk. The two would play together at Quinnipiac in 2009.

Her first season with the Quinnipiac Bobcats was the 2009-10 campaign. She participated in all 37 games, while accumulating one goal and nine assists. Her first career assist came on October 23, 2009 in a 3-2 loss to the Niagara Purple Eagles. Versus the Princeton Tigers, she scored her first career goal (on December 31, 2009). Boulton had at least one assist in three consecutive games, ranging from January 15 to 22 (versus Syracuse and Wayne State). Her highest offensive output came in an 8-1 triumph over Brown as she logged two helpers. The following season, Boulton only participated in 28 contests. Her offensive output improved to 16 points (nine goals, seven assists). On October 2, she notched the game winning goal versus Niagara. In consecutive games (on October 9 and 10), she logged assists. Her first career hat trick came in a 4-2 win on October 15 versus Maine.[1] Versus the Princeton Tigers, Boulton scored two goals in a 5-2 win (on November 2).
