Rebecca Morse (born March 4, 1992) is a women's ice hockey player from New Jersey. Currently, she competes for the Providence Friars in Hockey East.

Playing career[]

From 2006 to 2010, Morse was a member of the National Sports Academy ice hockey team. During the 2008-09 campaign, she was part of the squad that won 45 games (a school record). She was named one of the team captains during her senior season (2009-10). Along with future Providence teammates Stephanie DeMars and Beth Hanrahan, they would win the 2010 New York State championship with the school. In 71 games during the 2009-10 season, she set a school record with 61 assists. She finished her career with 60 goals and 160 assists for 220 points.

NCAA[]

In her freshman campaign (2010-11), Morse participated in 33 contests, earning 16 points (five goals, eleven assists). Of her five goals, three were game winning scores (including one in the final minutes of regulation versus the Vermont Catamounts on February 19, 2011). In the final five games, Morse registered at least one point. In the 2011 Hockey East Quarterfinals versus the Maine Black Bears, Morse logged a goal. She would also register an assist in the Hockey East semifinal versus Boston College. In 19 conference matchups, her 12 points (four goals, eight assists) tied for third on the Friars.
