Radek Faksa (born January 9, 1994 in Opava) is a Czech ice hockey player. He is currently playing with Kitchener Rangers of the Ontario Hockey League where he is the league's leading rookie scorer.[1] Faksa is considered to be a top NHL prospect, and is listed fourth on the NHL Central Scouting Bureau's midterm ranking of North American skaters.[2]
Faksa competed with the Czech national team at the 2011 IIHF World U18 Championships, 2012 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships, 2013 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships, 2014 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships, 2016 IIHF World Championships, 2016 World Cup of Hockey, 2018 IIHF World Championships and 2019 IIHF World Championships. He was also selected to participate in the 2012 CHL Top Prospects Game where he won the “Showdown Breakaway Challenge” in the Top Prospects Skills Competition.[3]
