1970 Hardy Cup Champions

The Powell River Regals were an intermediate and then are now senior team.

They won the Hardy Cup in 1969-70.

Between 1967 and 2010 the team won the Coy Cup as BC Senior AA Provincial champion five times (1967, 1969, 1970, 1993, and 2010).

The team is an 11 time Savage Cup champion as BC Senior AAA Provincial Champions.  They won the championship nine straight years from 1995 to 2003 and in 2005 and 2012.

The Regals have also won the Allan Cup three times - in 1997, 2000, and winning as the host team in 2006

The team continues to play an independent schedule as the province's (usally) only AAA senior registered team. The team has in recent years played the Chinook Hockey League champion for the McKenzie Cup for the British Columbia-Alberta championship and a birth in the Allan Cup as the Pacific representative.

For the 2016-17 season, the team registered at the Senior AAA level.  However, it seems that the team will concentrate its' efforts on playing at the Senior AA level as the team helped form the level West Coast Senior AA Hockey League.  An article on the Powell River Peak website list the league as being a quasi-league with the teams being able to play some other independent dates.
