The Viseu Lobos.
The Portuguese Championship was the national championship in Portugal . It was first held during 2000-01 season. It consisted of one team from Viseu, one team from Lisbon, and one team from Serta.
All matches were staged in Viseu at the Palácio do Gelo, which opened in September 1996.
