The Pontiac Sr Comets are a Hockey Canada-sanctioned ice hockey team from Fort Coulonge, Quebec. The team was added as an charter member in the Outaouais Senior A Hockey League on April, 2018 to begin play with the 2018-19 season. The team will play out of the Arena Fort-Coulonge in Fort Coulonge.[1] The team was originally to be known as the Fort-Coulonge Sr Comets but were renamed prior to the start of league play.
After the Quebec Senior AA Hockey League season was cancelled on September 9, 2020 the team would jump to the Eastern Ontario Super A Hockey League in an attempt to salvage a 2020-21 playing season on October 8, 2020; but, the EOSAHL would end up cancelling its season on January 21, 2021. No official word on which league the team will play in for the 2021-22 season.
The team would be revived for the 2024-25 season as the Bytown Sr. Royals would relocate to Fort Coulonge and assume the Comets identity
