The Polar Ice House is a defunct indoor arena located in Grapevine, Texas. The arena closed in September of 2014. The arena was due to become the home of the newly formed Texas Attack of the Western States Hockey League for the 2014-15 season when it was announced that the arena would close. The ownership of the rink was also involved in the operations of the Dallas Ice Jets of the WSHL. The ownership also operated other youth teams in the arena.

It became embroiled in several issues which lead to its closing.

Several of the teams operated under the sanctioning of the Amateur Athletic Union as opposed to USA Hockey, and USA Hockey required preapproval for its teams to play non-USA Hockey sanctioned teams. This would lead to at least one of its teams being disbanded because it is unable to play any games.[1]

The ownership also took on the Dallas Stars organization as the team operated several ice rinks then known as the Dr. Pepper Star Centers throughout the greater Dallas area accusing them of unfairly competing in the local market.
