Place Bell is an arena presently under construction located in Laval, Quebec. The facility is planned to have a main 10,000 seat arena which is believed to eventually become the home of the Montreal Canadiens American Hockey League affilliate. (The present affiliate is located in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador). The facility will also have two smaller capacity rinks.
The facility was originally planned for the Quartier de l'Agora district of Laval however, issues with the site caused a new site to be chosen along the Boulevard de la Concorde. This delay caused a delay in the construction which began in 2014. The facility is scheduled to open in 2017. The facility will be run by Evenko, which is the same company that runs the Bell Centre in Montreal.
