Petr Kodýtek (born on August 17, 1998 in Sušice) is a Czech ice hockey center currently playing with the HC Plzeň of the Tipsport Extraliga.
Club career[]
Kodýtek played junior hockey with the HC Plzeň 1929 (later HC Plzeň) organisation. He made his senior debut in the 2016-17 season by playing 24 regular season games and 3 play-off games with the HC Plzeň of the Tipsport Extraliga and 4 regular season games and 1 play-off game on loan with the HC Klatovy of the 2. Liga while he also played 20 regular season games and 13 play-off games with the HC Plzeň junior team.
The 2017-18 season was Kodýtek's last junior season. He played 9 regular season games and 4 play-off games with the HC Plzeň junior team, 29 regular season games and 3 play-off games with the HC Plzeň of the Tipsport Extraliga, 9 games on loan with the HC Stadion Litoměřice of the WSM Liga and 4 games on loan with the HC Klatovy of the 2. Liga.
Since 2018, Kodýtek is playing only with the HC Plzeň of the Tipsport Extraliga. He is signed there until the end of the 2022-23 season.
International career[]
Kodýtek played with the Czech National Team at the 2015 European Youth Olympic Festival winning the silver medal, at the 2016 World U18 Championship and at the 2018 World Junior Championship.
