Playing career 1999–2006

Petr Šulan was born on March 29, 1982. He is a Czech retired ice hockey goaltender and currently the massage therapist and equipment manager. He currently works as the massage therapist and equipment manager with the HC Plzeň of the Tipsport Extraliga and as the equipment manager with the Czech National Team.

Club career[]

Šulan played junior hockey with the HC Plzeň organisation. He made his senior debut in the 2001-02 season playing 6 games with the HC Klatovy of the 2. Liga.

In the 2002-03 season, Šulan played for the HC Berounští Medvědi of the 1. Liga. He also played with the HC Klatovy in this season.

For the 2003-04 season, Šulan moved back to the HC Klatovy of the 2. Liga and played there 31 regular season games plus 8 play-off games in that season.

Šulan began the next season with the HC Klatovy, but after 10 games played, he moved to France to play with the Garges of the FFHG Division 1 for the remainder of the season and also for the whole 2005-06 season.

In the 2006-07 season, Šulan did not play and came back to hockey in the 2007-08 season playing with the HC Rokycany of the 2. Liga. He stayed there also for the 2008-09 season. After that, he retired.

International career[]

Šulan was the third goalie of the Czech National Team at the 2002 World Junior Championship, but he did not play in a single game.
