He helped the team win the Champions Hockey League during this season. He also became the junior who recorded most assists (13) in the SHL in this season.
After playing 132 games adding 22 goals and 49 points over a span of four seasons with Luleå, he signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Boston Bruins organisation on June 16, 2016.[1] He made his NHL debut with the Boston Bruins on February 11, 2017 against the Vancouver Canucks.[2] He played 11 games for Boston Bruins before returning to the Providence Bruins of the AHL[3] where he played 49 regular season games and 2 play-off games in the 2016-17 season.
Cehlárik scored his first NHL goal on November 18, 2017 with the Bruins as the first Boston goal in a road game against the San Jose Sharks, in what would become a 3-1 Boston victory.[4][5] All in all, in the 2017-18 season played Cehlárik 6 games with the Boston Bruins of the NHL and 35 regular season games and 3 play-off games with the Providence Bruins of the AHL.
