Gordon Peter "Pete" Sears (born March 14, 1947, in Lake Placid, New York) is a former ice hockey player who played for the American national team. He won a silver medal at the 1972 Winter Olympics.[1]
He played college hockey for the Oswego Great Lakers. Sears spent time with the Green Bay Bobcats, Columbus Owls, and the Suncoast Suns during his club career.
Early life[]
Sears was drafted in the United States Army and served two years in 1967–69, including a tour of duty in Vietnam during the Vietnam War.[2]
