Peter John Goegan (b. March 6, 1934 in Fort William, Ontario - d. October 8, 2008) is a retired professional ice hockey player who played 383 games in the National Hockey League. He played for the Detroit Red Wings, New York Rangers, and Minnesota North Stars. He was a very tough defensive defenceman.

He played junior for the Fort William Canadiens from 1951 to 1954. In 1954-55 he played for the senior Fort William Beavers and in 1955-56 for the senior Sault Ste. Marie Indians. He finally turned pro in 1956-57 with the Cleveland Barons.

Goegan played most of his time with the Wings with some spells in the minors. In February 1962 he was traded to the New York Rangers for Noel Price. In October the two were exchanged again.

He continued to jump between the Wings and the minors until 1967, when the Minnesota North Stars picked him in the 1967 NHL Expansion Draft. Goegan played 46 games for the Stars in 1967-68 and then was sent to the minors. He retired in 1969.
