Paxton Schafer (born February 26, 1976 in Medicine Hat, Alberta) is a retired ice hockey goaltender. He played three games for the Boston Bruins.
He played junior hockey for the Medicine Hat Tigers and was chosen 47th overall by the Boston Bruins in the 1995 NHL Entry Draft. His lone NHL experience was three games for the Bruins in 1996-97.
Schafer played in the minor pros, mostly in the ECHL, until his retirement in 2003.
Paxton Schafer is currently playing for the Oyen Eagles in the Sask West Hockey League.
