Pavel Novák was born on April 16, 2002 in Tábor. He is a Czech ice hockey right/left winger currently playing on loan for the HC Stadion Litoměřice of the Chance Liga. He was selected 146th overall in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft by the Minnesota Wild.
Club career[]
Novák began his junior career with the IHC Písek organisation. In 2016, he moved to the ČEZ Motor České Budějovice organisation and in the 2018-19 season, Novák made his senior debut playing 20 games with the ČEZ Motor České Budějovice of the Chance Liga.
For the 2019-20 season, Novák moved to North America to play with the Kelowna Rockets of the WHL. He scored 58 points in 55 games.
At the beginning of the 2020-21 season, Novák was loaned to the HC Stadion Litoměřice of the Chance Liga.

Novák played for the Czech Republic at the 2018 World U17 Hockey Challenge.
