Paul Colontino is a hockey coach and former defenceman.
Playing Career[]
He played with with his hometown Burlington Cougars of the Ontario Provincial Junior Hockey League from 1991-92 to 1995-96 and would play part of the 1995-96 season with the Sioux City Musketeers of the United States Hockey League. He would then be a member of the Mercyhurst Lakers men's ice hockey team from 1996-97 to 1999-2000.
Coaching Career[]
Upon graduation he would become a graduate assistant coach with the Lakers for 2000-01 and 2001-02. He would then become an assistant coach with the North Dakota Fighting Sioux men's ice hockey team from 2002-03 to 2005-06. He would return to Mercyhurst as the associate head coach for the 2006-07 to 2010-11 seasons. He would be named the fourth head coach of the Robert Morris Lady Colonials ice hockey team. He would hold the position until the program was temporarily stopped in 2021 compiling a 183-114-41 record during his tenure. He would then become the head coach of the Rochester, New York-based Bishop Kearney Selects 19UAAA team.
