Oscar Ingolfur Asmundson (Born November 17, 1908 in Red Deer, Alberta - November 2, 1964) was a professional ice hockey right winger who played 6 seasons in the National Hockey League for the New York Rangers, Detroit Red Wings, St. Louis Eagles, New York Americans and Montreal Canadiens. Asmundson won the Stanley Cup as a member of the Rangers in 1932-33.

He played in the Pacific Coast Hockey League from 1928 to 1931 and then was signed by the New York Rangers. He was with the Bronx Tigers in 1931-32 and then was called up to the Rangers in 1932-33 when they won the Stanley Cup. In 1933-34 he played another full NHL season, the last he he wuld play.

He then played parts of seasons with other NHL clubs while spending most of his time in the minor pros. Asmundson lasted until 1944-45 with the Hollywood Wolves when he retired.

In the NHL, Asmundson played in 111 games and scored 11 goals and 23 assists.
