The Orangeville Ice Crushers are a Canadian Junior ice hockey team based in Orangeville, Ontario, Canada. They play in the Greater Metro Junior A Hockey League and will consist of boarded American players.


The Americans were announced in the spring of 2011.[1] The roster will comprise American players.[2]

On September 12, 2011, the Americans played their first game at home against the Bradford Rattlers. The Rattlers won the game 5-2. During this game, the first American goal was scored by 16-year-old Dominic Poya from Chicago, Illinois. On September 19, the Americans won their first game 7-2 at home against the Shelburne Red Wings.

January 1, 2015 the club announced that RCR Entertainment had become the new team owners. With this change in ownership the all American team format was abandoned after the 2014-15 season along with the Americans nickname.

The Ice Crushers suspended operations in January of 2017.
