Olivia Sutter played forward for the Carleton Ravens women's ice hockey program of the CIS. She competed for the Lady Ravens during the 2010-11 season.

Playing career[]

Sutter played for the Red Deer Sutter Fund Chiefs in Alberta.[1] In her final season with the Sutter Fund Chiefs, she notched 11 goals and 13 assists in 32 regular season games with the Chiefs. In addition, the team finished second in the Alberta Major Midget Female Hockey League's South Division with an 18-9-5 record.

CIS[]

Sutter joined the Carleton Ravens in the 2010-11 season. At the preseason UBC Tournament, Sutter scored a goal in the semifinals of the tournament to help the Ravens advance to the final.[2] On September 3, 2010, Sutter scored a goal as the Ravens defeated the Norwegian national women's ice hockey team by a 2-1 tally.[3] In the Ravens home opener, Sutter scored two goals as the Ravens beat the cross town Ottawa Gee-Gees by an 8-1 tally.[4] On October 31, Sutter scored to give Carleton a 4-3 lead against a very powerful Montreal Carabins women's ice hockey squad before losing by a 6-5 mark.[5] On January 31, 2011, she was one of two Carleton women's ice hockey players to play in the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario's third annual celebrity pickup hockey game[6] Prior to the start of the 2011–12 Carleton Lady Ravens ice hockey season, Sutter left the team to try out for Team Alberta (CWHL).
