"Lakers" is the name of the independent collegiate transfer team with players representing UBC Okanagan and Okanagan College. The team is located in Kelowna, British Columbia and operates in the British Columbia Intercollegiate Hockey League (BCIHL). The team originated in 2021-22.

UBC Okanagan Heat[]

"Heat" is the name of the sports teams of the University of British Columbia Okanagan, located in Kelowna, British Columbia. They are members of the Canada West Universities Athletic Association (CWUAA) and U Sports. They have not operated a hockey team in either the CWUAA or the BCIHL.

Okanagan College Coyotes[]

"Coyotes" is the name of the sports teams from Okanagan College, located in Kelowna and various other cities in British Columbia. They operated in the BCIHL from 2009-10 to 2011-12. They operate in the Pacific West Athletic Association in basketball and the Canadian College Baseball Conference in baseball.
