The Northland Lumberjills are a women's ice hockey team representing Northland College in Ashland, Wisconsin. The team commenced play as a varsity program with the 2016-17 season. The team playing as a Division III Independent for the 2016-17 season. The team began play in the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association for the 2017-18 season to match the school's men's hockey team, the Northland Lumberjacks. The team is based out of the Bay Area Civic Center in Ashland. On April 5, 2018 the college announced the women's and men's teams would be joining the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference for the 2019-20 season.[1]

On June 18, 2020 head coach Kelly Rider stepped down as head coach[2] to become the first head coach of the Curry Colonels women's ice hockey team which begin play with the 2021-22 season.[3] On September 21st it was announced that former St. Mary's Cardinals women's ice hockey assistant coach Jason Carter was named the programs second head coach.[4]
