The Northland Lumberjacks are a Men's Division III team in the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association representing Northland College in Ashland, Wisconsin. The team is based out of the Bay Area Civic Center in Ashland.
The women's program (Northland Lumberjills) commenced play with the 2016-17 season. That program is playing as a Division III Independent for the 2016-17 season and will join the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association's women's division for the 2017-18 season.
On April 5, 2018 the college announced that the men's and women's teams would be joining the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference for the 2019-20 season.[1]
