The North Saskatchewan River Senior Hockey League was based in Saskatchewan and this league started in 1995/1996. Due to all members either joining other leagues or taking the 2015-16 season off the league was inactive for the 2015-16 season and subsequently folded.

- The Edam Three Stars were accepted into the Saskatchewan Prairie Senior Hockey League for the 2015-16 season
- The Maidstone Jets and the Paradise Hill Hawks were accepted into the Sask/Alta Senior Hockey League for the 2015-16 season
- Meadow Lake had a team (Meadow Lakes Broncos) joining the Beaver Lakes Hockey League for 2015-16
- The St. Walburg Eagles announced on their twitter account that they were taking the year off.
- The Turtleford Tigers (who sat out the 2014-15 season) appear not have restarted for the 2015-16 season
