The North Iowa Bulls are a USA Hockey-sanctioned ice hockey team from Mason City, Iowa that plays in the North American Hockey League (NAHL) at the Mason City MPA which opened in December of 2019. The NAHL team began play with the 2008-09 season as the Albert Lea Thunder playing out of the Albert Lea City Arena in Albert Lea, Minnesota, and prior to the 2010-11 season the team would relocate to the Amarillo Civic Center in Amarillo, Texas as the Amarillo Bulls. The organization's NA3HL team commenced play with the 2011-12 season. The NAHL team begin play in Iowa with the 2021-22 season. With the opening of the new arena, team owners decided to move the Amarillo Bulls of the North American Hockey League to the arena for the 2021-22 playing season, receiving the approval of the NAHL Board of Governors. The former Bulls team was renamed the Mason City Toros on June 1, 2021
