The Niagara-on-the-Lake Nationals were a junior hockey team announced on April 30, 2018, as beginning play with the 2018-19 season. The team was to be a member of the Canadian Premier Junior Hockey League. The team is based out of the Meridian Credit Union Arena.[1][2] On July 30, 2018, the team was announced as an expansion team in the Greater Metro Junior A Hockey League for the 2018-19 season, leaving the CPJHL due to concerns of the league stability.[3]
On June 21, 2019 the GMHL announced that the team was folding ahead of the 2019-20 season.[4]
