Newcastle ENL Vipers are a British ice hockey team based in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. They act as a reserve team for the Newcastle Vipers of the EIHL. The team currently competes in the ENIHL.
2006-2007 season[]
The ENL Vipers kicked of with a 15-1 victory over Bradford Bulldogs. Eventually the vipers won the league on the last match of the season against the Whitley Warriors in a winner takes all match. Newcastle also enjoyed a rivalry with the Sheffield Spartans and the Whitley Warriors. Games against these two sides were always tight affairs which showed a high standard of ability on show. Unfortunately, the Vipers couldn't keep up their impressive form, and finished the playoffs in last place.
