The Newark Bulldogs were a minor pro team in Newark, New Jersey. They played in the Canadian American Hockey League for one season only - 1928-29.
The franchise had been bought from the Quebec Castors.
The Bulldogs finished in fifth place in the sixth place league and were out of playoffs. Their coach was Sprague Cleghorn.
