New York is home to three NHL teams. The Rangers and Islanders play in New York City, and the Sabres play in Buffalo. New York is also home to the Albany River Rats, Binghamton Senators, Rochester Americans and, Syracuse Crunch of the American Hockey League The ECHL team Elmira Jackals also plays in NY.
