The New Ontario Hockey League was a professional league that existed from 1907-1912.
It played in the Thunder Bay region of Ontario. Port Arthur Lake City challenged for the Stanley Cup in 1911 and 1912.
The indoor Fort William Arena burned down in 1912 and may have had a roll in the end of the league. The arena was replaced by an outdoor rink on the same site from the 1913 to 1918 playing seasons.
