The New Glasgow Seven Ups were a senior team.
They were sponsored by a local soft drink bottler.
The Seven Ups played in the Antigonish-Pictou-Colchester Senior Hockey League in 1933-34, 1934-35 and 1935-36.
In 1936-37 they entered the 1936-37 Maritimes Senior Playoffs as an independent (non-league) team.
They won the Nova Scotia Hockey League in 1937-38 and then advanced to the 1937-38 Maritimes Senior Playoffs.
