The New Glasgow Rangers were both a senior team and a junior team.
The senior team played in the Antigonish-Pictou-Colchester Senior Hockey League from 1951 to 1957, winning the league title in every season that they played in. They did not play in 1951-52, 1952-53, or 1953-54.
The senior Rangers then played in the Nova Scotia Senior Hockey League from 1958 to 1965 (the entire career of the league). The Rangers won the league title in 1964-65 when they also won their only Maritimes Senior championship.
