Nelson House is a community located in northeastern Manitoba at the convergence of the Burntwood, Footprint, and Rat Rivers about 80km west of Thompson, Manitoba.  The land is located adjacent to the Nelson House 170 Indian Reserve, which is part of the Nisichawayasihk Cree Nation (formerly known as the Nelson House First Nation).  The community had a population of 75 as of the 2011 census.  The Cree Nation around Nelson House has a population of about 4,200.
