Keith Nelson Burton (born November 6, 1957 in Sydney, Nova Scotia) is a former National Hockey League left wing. He was selected by the Washington Capitals in the 4th round (#57 overall) of the 1977 NHL Entry Draft.
He played junior hockey for the Hull Festivals and the Quebec Remparts from 1974 to 1977, getting a reputation as a tough player and a good scorer. In 1977-78 he turned pro with the Hershey Bears and was also called up for eight games with the Capitals. In that stretch he scored his only NHL goal. The following season he played for the Bears again and was called up for three Capitals' games. That was it for his NHL career.
Burton was traded to the Quebec Nordiques in 1979 for Dave Parro but never played for the Nordiques. He played in the minor pros until 1984 when he retired.
