Natasha Kostenko (born January 29, 1993) is a women's ice hockey player from Manitoba. She has represented Manitoba in national tournaments.

Playing career[]

From 2008 to 2010, she led the Central Plains Capitals in scoring during both season. During the 2009-10 season, she had 65 points (45G, 20A), while notching 58 points (34G, 24A) in the 2008-09 season, respectively.

She competed with the Notre Dame Hounds during the 2010-11 season. The Hounds finished in first place in the Saskatchewan Female Midget AAA Hockey League with a won loss record of 27-0-1. Her 22 points (13 goals, nine helpers) ranked 20th in SFMAAAHL league scoring. With the Hounds, she was part of the gold medal winning team at the 2011 Esso Cup. In the gold medal game versus the Edmonton Thunder, Kostenko assisted on the game winning goal as Notre Dame defeated Edmonton by a 5-2 mark.[1]

Kostenko was part of Team Manitoba at the 2011 Canada Winter Games (women's) tournament.[2] She scored three goals and accumulated six assists.

Personal[]

Her uncle, Greg Kostenko competed in ice hockey for the Ohio State Buckeyes. He was an eighth round selection by the New York Rangers in the 1978 NHL Entry Draft.[5]
