Natalie Payne is a former Canadian womens ice hockey player that competed for the Wayne State Warriors.
Playing career[]
Payne first played for the Mercyhurst Lakers. She was a two-time First Team All-CHA selection and twice led all CHA defenders in scoring.
She was the first Wayne State defender to earn CHA First Team accolades. She transferred to Wayne State in the final year of her NCAA career. In her one season, she scored 29 points to set a team record for most points in one season by a defender. Her 0.97 points per game average lead all defenders in the CHA while ranking second overall in the NCAA among defenders.
