Murray Robert Kuntz (born December 19, 1945) is a former professional ice hockey right winger. He played seven games in the National Hockey League with the St. Louis Blues in the 1974–75 season. He was born in Ottawa, Ontario.
He played junior hockey for the Brockville Braves and the Ottawa Montagnards from 1964 to 1966. In 1966-67 Kuntz turned pro with the Toledo Blades of the International Hockey League and then joined the New Haven Blades of the Eastern Hockey League, with whom he played until 1970.
In that year the expansion Buffalo Sabres signed him as a free agent. He was assigned to the minors and helped the Cincinnati Swords win the Calder Cup in 1973. In 1973-74 he played for the Rochester Americans and led the American Hockey League in goals with 51.
In 1974 the Americans sold his rights to the St. Louis Blues and he got his NHL chance. Kuntz played in 7 games for the Blues and scored a goal and two assists. That was it for him and the NHL. Kuntz retired in 1977 after playing in the minor pros.
