History[]
After more than a decade of dominating the Quebec intermediate hockey playoffs, the Mount Royal Intermediate League was promoted to senior status. It still continued to play at the Mount Royal Arena in Montreal.
The league only lasted one season (1932-33) as attendance showed that there was room for only one senior league in the city.Montreal St Francois Xavier and the Lafontaine Bleus moved to the Montreal Senior Group. A new Mount Royal Intermediate League arose the next season.
