The Motor City Hockey Club formerly Motor City Hawks and MC Monarchs are a USA Hockey-sanctioned ice hockey team from Fraser, Michigan based out of the Fraser Hockeyland. The team was founded in 2014 as the MC Monarchs. The team was renamed after the 2014-15 season prior to joining the United States Premier Hockey League along with the rest of the Midwest Junior Hockey League membership for the 2015-16 season.
On March 20, 2018 the organization announced that the team would be renamed the Motor City Hockey Club and would be relocating to the Troy Sports Center in Troy, Michigan. The organization also annouced they would shed the Chicago Blackhawks-esque logo. The announcement also included the addition of several former players with ties to the Detroit Red Wings.
